Our client is a well established firm of chartered accountants, tax and business advisers with offices in Weybridge and Cranleigh, Surrey. With over 50 highly skilled employees, including partners, they are a firm committed to delivering exceptional service to both individual and corporate clients.

The Role:
Our client is actively recruiting a proactive Tax Client Senior who is passionate about making a difference to join our growing team. They have a friendly and supportive working environment. Their Private Client team assists with the taxation affairs of around 1,500 private clients. Typical clients include HNWI’s, Non-resident/Non-domiciled Taxpayers, Trusts & Estates, Landlords and business owners and their families. Their Corporate Client
Team assists with the taxation affairs of around 1,000 companies. Typical clients range from small family companies to groups of companies and multinationals.

General Duties and Responsibilities:
• Report to the Business & Corporate Tax Director and Tax Partner
• Provide overall support to Partners and directors on client matters and special projects including exposure to a wide variety of tax issues
• Manage a portfolio of clients and their day to day compliance affairs
• Responsibility for recovery rate target and profitability on pre-agreed portfolio
• Build a good rapport with clients with a clear understanding of client expectations and ensuring exceptional levels of service
• Coach, mentor and manage junior members of the team
• Assisting with other tax service lines such as Capital Gains Tax Returns, Inheritance Tax, Trusts & Estates, ATED, P11d’s, Employment Related Securities, Research & Development Relief claims etc.
• Producing well supported technical research and conclusions in relation to compliance matters
• Assisting with enquiries raised by HMRC.

Qualifications Essential:
CTA qualified or ATT with minimum of 5 years practical experience.

Skills and Knowledge required:
• Proven track record working in a small or mid-tier accountancy practice
• Technologically adept (experience of using CCH would be beneficial, but not essential)
• Experience working with high net worth individuals
• A talent for presenting complex findings in a clear and concise manner
• Work independently and as part of the team
• Experience in one or more of the following areas: -
o Taxation of non-domiciled/Non-resident taxpayers
o Trust and estate taxation
o Inheritance tax
o Employment Related Securities
o Research & Development Relief claims
