Company Overview Our client is a Top 20 progressive business advisory and accountancy group with offices throughout the UK and Ireland.

Sectors Based near Bank in London, our client has established a strong reputation in the media and entertainment field, with media-related clients accounting for around 40% of their practice. They work with prominent names in entertainment, including actors, writers, directors, producers, and agents. They also serve clients in the legal, pharmaceutical, healthcare, and property sectors.

Job Overview We are looking for a Tax Senior to join our client's expanding organisation. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, able to work to tight deadlines, possess excellent interpersonal skills, and have an interest in understanding clients’ businesses.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality compliance services across personal tax and corporate tax compliance.
• Handle trust tax, including trust tax returns, IHT estate calculations, IHT lifetime tax, IHT planning, and succession planning.
• Manage capital gains tax, including all capital gains tax reliefs such as Entrepreneurs' Relief, Rollover Relief, and Gift Relief.
• Work on corporate tax-related tasks with potential involvement in mergers, sales and acquisitions tax advice, company reorganisations, R&D, and other areas of corporate tax planning.
• Collaborate closely with business leaders and approach work with a competitive and entrepreneurial mindset.

Qualifications and Skills

• ATT/CTA/ACA/ACCA qualified with a career background in tax compliance, gained within an accounting firm or tax boutique of any size.
• Ideally, mixed tax technical skills across both personal and corporate tax advice.
• Experience in a wider accountancy/mixed general practice background or a career focused entirely within the taxation sector.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
• Commercial awareness and client focus.
• Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to work well under pressure.
• Positive and committed in dealings with both clients and staff.
