Position Title: Senior Auditor (Corporate Compliance)
Reports to: Audit Partner (Audit, Statutory Accounts, and Corporation Tax)
Responsible for: No direct reports
Position Summary: As a Senior Auditor specializing in corporate compliance, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring adherence to statutory regulations and financial transparency. Your expertise in audit and accounting, combined with strategic insight, will guide our business towards optimal growth trajectories. Key responsibilities include:

Holding ACCA or ACA qualification with a minimum of 3 years' experience in a UK accountancy practice.

Demonstrating proficiency in all facets of company audits, ensuring compliance with UK ISAs and leveraging CCH audit automation.

Overseeing the management and delivery of accountancy and taxation services to clients, adhering to established processes and procedures. This includes the preparation of statutory accounts under FRS102 and reduced disclosure FRS102 section 1A.

Monitoring job performance and costs, ensuring timely and budget-compliant project delivery.

Managing the financial aspects of projects from quotation to invoicing.

Continuously evaluating and enhancing service quality and performance levels, streamlining business processes for superior client-focused service provision.
Specific Knowledge/Experience/Abilities Required:

Conducting UK audits in accordance with UK ISAs, with familiarity in CCH audit automation (experience auditing charities is advantageous).

Overseeing the production and filing of client statutory year-end accounts, including group/consolidated accounts, utilizing CCH accounts production software.

Managing the production and filing of client corporation tax returns, leveraging CCH corporation tax software.

Delivering various Company Secretarial services such as Board Meeting Minutes, Dividend Vouchers, and Change of Company details in line with client requirements and statutory regulations/deadlines.

Taking ownership of client relationships, engaging directly with clients on account preparation/presentation, service inquiries, and performance issues.
