A well-established Accountancy Practice in Aylesbury wants you to be their new Accounts Senior As the company expands its client base and services, they are on the lookout for a dedicated professional to contribute to this exciting phase of development. The role is office based 5 days a week but parking is provided.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare financial statements for Limited Companies under FRS102, ensuring a robust working paper file for manager and partner review.
  • Conduct corporation tax computations with precision.
  • Handle personal tax computations effectively.
  • Manage VAT and Bookkeeping on Xero/Dext, focusing on large clients.
  • Oversee payroll functions efficiently.
  • Address ad hoc HMRC and client queries promptly.
  • Train junior team members after a year, with potential progression to the next level.
  • Identify candidates for future management roles and support their development.

Requirements:

  • ACCA/ACA Part Qualified/Finalists/Qualified candidates considered.
  • 2-3+ years of experience in an accountancy practice.
  • Good knowledge and experience of Xero/Dext.
  • Experience with IRIS is preferable but not required.
