About Us: Perrott Partners Recruitment is working on behalf oo this rapidly expanding Top 50 firm this Group Management Accountabnt role will be based in Oxford.Our client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Group Management Accountant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the company's financial operations and providing accurate and timely financial information to support decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation of monthly management accounts and day-to-day bookkeeping.
- Preparation of quarterly VAT returns.
- Management of bank accounts including reconciliations.
- Assist with audit preparation and provide audit assistance.
- Support the business in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts.
- Monitor and report on budgetary performance against targets.
- Develop and maintain financial controls and procedures to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Provide financial support to departments as required.
- Ensure that all financial transactions are recorded accurately and in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions.
- Work collaboratively with other members of the finance team and the wider business.
Key Requirements:
- Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines.
- Proficient in the use of MS Excel.
- Experience of working with accounting software.
- Experience of working in a similar role, preferably in a group accounting environment.
