Key Duties & Responsibilities:

Effectively communicate with clients, keeping them informed of affairs and tax liabilities.

Identify tax planning opportunities and additional services for clients.

Ensure compliance with statutory deadlines and billing targets.

Set and adhere to budgets, minimizing unexpected write-offs.

Obtain client approval before proceeding with additional work.

Monitor financial exposure and outstanding debts, taking appropriate actions.

Manage client workflow in accordance with firm procedures.

Plan and execute accounts preparation tasks, including auditing, corporation tax returns, annual returns, and regulatory filings.

Ensure timely completion of all HMRC returns.

Handle Director's, Partner's, or Sole Trader's tax returns for the business client portfolio.

Undertake ad hoc tasks, including profit and cash flow forecasting, management accounts, valuations, and due diligence work.

Perform all duties in compliance with the Firm's Staff Handbook and Procedures Manual.

Assist with team development and support team members as needed.

Collaborate with partners to propose strategic ideas, attract new clients, and contribute to team recruitment.
Experience and Skills Required:

ACA, ACCA, or CA qualification.

3-4 years of PQE experience.

Leading on Audit, with at least 50% current audit exposure.

Strong knowledge of auditing and accounting practices and principles.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and accounting software (CaseWare, Xero, Sage, QuickBooks).

Excellent professional communication skills, both verbal and written.

Strong interpersonal skills for effective interaction at all organizational levels, internally and externally.
