About the Company: Our client, a thriving 2-partner practice located just outside Reading, is expanding its team and recruiting for an experienced Accounts Senior/Supervisor. With a client-focused approach and a commitment to growth, the firm offers a friendly and supportive work environment.

Main Responsibilities: As an Accounts Senior/Supervisor, you will play a key role in the general practice accountancy firm. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Account preparation to Trial Balance.
• Handling accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks.
• Quarterly VAT returns, prepayments, and accruals.
• Preparation and review of bookkeeping.
• Completion of accounting and adjustment journals.
• Assisting with the preparation and production of monthly management accounts.
• Support with year-end statutory accounts.
• Monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
• Maintenance of accurate financial records.
• Input of accruals, prepayments, and other journals.
• Fixed asset register management.
• Client meetings and staff supervision.

About You:

• AAT, ACA, or ACCA qualified or part-qualified.
• At least 3-4 years of practice background, including statutory accounts exposure.
• Experience with IRIS, Sage, Quickbooks, Kashflow, Xero, or similar software is desirable.
