Position Summary:
As a Tax Senior at our client's firm, you will play a crucial role in our tax department, providing expert tax advice and compliance services to our clients. You will be responsible for managing and overseeing a portfolio of clients, ensuring their tax obligations are met efficiently and accurately.

Key Responsibilities:

Tax Compliance:
  • Prepare and review complex personal and corporate tax returns.
  • Ensure timely submission of tax returns and payments, adhering to all relevant deadlines.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in tax legislation and regulations to ensure compliance.
  • Provide guidance on tax planning and optimization strategies to minimize clients' tax liabilities.
Client Management:
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as their primary point of contact for tax matters.
  • Understand clients' financial situations and goals to provide tailored tax advice and solutions.
  • Address client inquiries, concerns, and requests promptly and professionally.
Research and Analysis:
  • Conduct research on tax issues and implications to provide informed recommendations.
  • Analyze financial data and statements to identify tax planning opportunities and risks.
  • Prepare tax projections and forecasts for clients.
Team Collaboration:
  • Collaborate with other members of the tax department to share knowledge and best practices.
  • Assist in the training and mentoring of junior staff members.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the overall success of the department.
Compliance and Reporting:
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant tax laws, regulations, and ethical standards.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of client interactions and work performed.
  • Generate and present reports to clients as needed.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • ACA, ACCA, or CTA qualification preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in tax compliance and advisory services.
  • Proficient in tax software and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong knowledge of UK tax laws and regulations.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
