Job Description: As an Audit Manager, you will play a crucial role in our client's audit and assurance practice. You will oversee audit engagements, manage a team of audit professionals, and ensure the delivery of high-quality services to clients. This position requires strong technical expertise, leadership abilities, and a dedication to maintaining the firm's reputation for excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage audit engagements, including planning, execution, and reporting, while ensuring compliance with auditing standards and regulations.
  • Supervise and mentor audit staff, providing guidance and fostering their professional growth.
  • Review financial statements, audit workpapers, and related documentation to verify accuracy and adherence to accounting standards.
  • Cultivate and maintain client relationships, addressing their audit and assurance needs and identifying opportunities for additional services.
  • Collaborate with partners and senior management to develop audit strategies and enhance audit methodologies.
  • Stay informed about changes in auditing standards, regulations, and industry trends.
  • Assist in business development efforts, including identifying potential clients and participating in proposal preparation.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; ACA/ACCA certification is required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in accounting, with a strong background in audit and assurance services.
  • Profound knowledge of auditing standards, financial reporting, and regulatory requirements.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • Effective time management and organizational skills.
  • Familiarity with accounting software and audit tools.
