Job Description

We, Perrott Partners Recruitment, are exclusively engaged by a highly regarded accountancy practice in Horsham to find a skilled and enthusiastic individual for the role of Personal Tax Semi Senior. We are seeking a dedicated professional with a strong understanding of personal taxation and the ability to deliver exceptional tax services to clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare accurate and timely personal tax returns, ensuring compliance with applicable tax laws and regulations.
  • Assist in providing tax advice and planning strategies to clients, collaborating closely with senior team members.
  • Stay abreast of changes in tax legislation and regulations, ensuring clients are informed of any relevant updates.
  • Conduct research and analysis to support tax planning initiatives and identify potential tax-saving opportunities for clients.
  • Engage with clients to gather necessary tax information, address queries, and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Support the management of HMRC correspondence, inquiries, and investigations.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of internal tax processes and procedures.
  • Keep up-to-date with industry trends and developments in personal taxation to provide proactive advice.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role within an accountancy practice or tax advisory firm.
  • In-depth knowledge of personal taxation laws, regulations, and best practices.
  • Proficiency in using tax software and other relevant tools for tax return preparation and analysis.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in tax calculations and submissions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with clients and colleagues.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines.
  • Professional demeanor, maintaining confidentiality and upholding ethical standards.
  • Relevant qualifications such as ATT (Association of Taxation Technicians) or similar certifications are desirable.
