Role Overview:
As an Audit Senior, you will oversee the audit process for each job, reporting to the corresponding manager/partner. You will also provide effective supervision to semi-senior and junior employees, ensuring the completion of audit work to a high standard. The role involves working on a diverse client portfolio and taking full responsibility for each audit assignment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as an on-site senior, responsible for planning, executing, and completing audit work.
  • Effectively supervise semi-senior and junior staff, providing training and guidance during audits.
  • Produce accurate draft accounts and a well-presented audit file in a timely manner.
  • Handle technical issues and seek guidance when necessary.
  • Prepare and implement high-quality work programs.
  • Agree on adjustments with clients and manage disclosure requirements.
  • Audit tax computations, draft management letters, and reports.
  • Keep senior management informed of progress.
  • Deliver audit output within specified budget timescales.

Qualifications and Experience:
Essential:

  • Qualified ACA, ACCA.
  • Senior-level skills and experience.
  • Experience in accounts preparation.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of financial reporting, accounting standards, auditing standards, company law, and basic corporate and personal tax.
  • Ability to multitask and excellent communication skills.
  • Good time management with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Flexible attitude and ability to prioritize workloads.

Desirable:

  • Knowledge of Pro-Audit, CCH, and Microsoft Office Products, particularly Excel software.
