Job Description: We are currently seeking a highly skilled Personal Tax Senior to join our client's esteemed firm. Reporting directly to the Manager and collaborating closely with the Partner, you will play a key role in providing comprehensive personal and corporate tax services. Your primary responsibilities will include managing a small portfolio of trust and estate tax returns, overseeing the preparation of related accounts, and participating in private client advisory team meetings.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of trust and estate tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant tax laws and regulations
  • Supervise the preparation of accounts associated with trust and estate tax returns
  • Provide expert advice on personal and corporate tax matters, working closely with the Manager and Partner
  • Conduct income tax planning, capital gains tax planning, and inheritance tax planning activities
  • Assist with trusts and estate administration and probate processes
  • Stay updated on the latest tax laws and regulations to ensure the provision of accurate and up-to-date advice
  • Foster strong relationships with clients, ensuring their satisfaction with the firm's services
  • Work autonomously on assigned tasks while also collaborating effectively with the team

Requirements:

  • ATT/ACA qualified or equivalent certification
  • Prior experience in personal tax, with a strong understanding of income tax planning, capital gains tax planning, and inheritance tax planning
  • Ability to work independently and as a collaborative team player
  • Highly motivated and driven, demonstrating a strong commitment to professional growth
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in preparing tax returns and accounts
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
