Job Description: Our client, based at Fulham Broadway, is seeking a skilled US Personal Tax Manager (Client Portfolio Manager) to join their team. As the US Tax Partner's right hand, you will play a crucial role in managing client portfolios and ensuring exceptional service delivery. This position requires expertise in US personal tax, excellent client relationship skills, and a strong attention to detail.

Key Duties:

• Reviewing US personal tax returns and preparing complex tax returns to meet quality standards
• Managing a portfolio of US High Net Worth Individuals (HNWI), professional contractors, business owners/entrepreneurs, and other US citizens residing in the UK
• Assisting with HMRC tax investigations and handling valid tax claims under UK and US tax rules
• Providing strategic tax advice to affluent families and business owners to minimize UK and/or US tax liabilities
• Ensuring tax work is completed within agreed cost, timelines, and quality standards
• Collaborating with the Tax Partner to manage budgets and meet HMRC deadlines
• Maintaining accurate records of US Personal Tax Returns and ensuring timely filing
• Identifying tax planning opportunities and engaging in client-facing advisory work

Requirements:

• Solid expertise in US income tax, with knowledge of Passive Foreign Investment Companies and Entity Classification Elections being advantageous
• Qualified CTA tax professional (or ACA/ACCA Qualified), preferred
• IRS EA Enrolled Agent status 
• Strong team-working and client relationship management skills
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
