Since their founding in 1899, our client has served a wide spectrum of clients in many industries. All of their efforts are directed towards owner-managed enterprises. They offer a variety of services, such as audit, accountancy, accounts support, payroll bureau, tax compliance, specialised tax services, M&A, and deals / transaction reports.

What is the role?

To take the helm of a team performing audit tasks.

They are searching for an ambitious person who has established experience in auditing and is eager to develop this field further because of the ongoing increase in their audit customer base. The person best fit for this position will be someone who appreciates a challenge, is delivery-focused, enjoys accountability, has a "can-do" mentality, and is looking to expand their skills and abilities.

The job entails performing audit tasks for a wide range of medium-sized to big, owner-managed clients in a variety of industries.

Job Function

  • Arrange and carry out audits while heading a group
  • Gather background information for planning an audit.
  • Construct and evaluate financial statements.
  • Create computations for corporate taxes.
  • Write reports and letters to management.
  • Ensure that time allotments are upheld.
  • Maintain professional connections and client confidentiality.
  • Oversee and support junior employees.
  • Communicate with different departments to effectively and efficiently fulfil tasks.
  • Work well with others and participate actively in technical training sessions.

Core Skills

ACA or ACCA finalist or qualified.

  • At least three years of experience working in a multi-partner practise with at least 50% audit exposure.
  • Technically proficient with a solid understanding of auditing standards and accounting standards, particularly FRS102 and 1A.
  • Caseware and Digita expertise are advantageous
  • Exhibit effective verbal and writing communication abilities.
  • The capacity to forge enduring bonds with both clients and employees.
  • A talent for collaboration and problem-solving.
  • The capacity to function under duress.
  • Seeking to advance their careers over the long run and eager to learn new things.
