In order to always maintain the consistency of the Companys audit framework, the successful candidate will support Directors with their audit obligations while also providing a professional audit service.
Depending on experience level, the following fundamental duties are included:

Complete accountability for the risk management procedures included in the audit of difficult clients.

Effectively planning and sizing audit assignments, allocating audit resources, establishing deadlines, and ensuring that each review is given a thorough and pertinent terms of reference.

Effectively and efficiently managing and carrying out programmed audit tasks, ensuring that work is done in accordance with deadlines and standards. identifying the main threats to corporate goals, assessing and testing the controls already in place, and figuring out where things may be done better.

Coordinating the planning and execution of audit assignments with Directors and clients, reviewing findings, emerging hazards, and steps to address identified risks.

Creating audit reports that adhere to the standards necessary for Directors' reporting.

Helping to design the policies and practises for the company's audit, risk, and assurance.

Overseeing more complicated work in this area, managing system development and advisory work, and educating and advising Directors of matters that have consequences for risk or control.

Create year-end financial reports, including self-assessments and company tax returns. Communicate with clients and offer guidance and information on finances. Support Directors in their interactions with clients and oversee/assist more junior employees as they perform their tasks.
You will have:

ACCA/ACA qualification, full or partial
-
Capable of displaying thorough and current understanding of auditing standards and practises
-
Able to interpret any pertinent legislation to clients while being legally compliant.

Capable of demonstrating a solid working knowledge of accounting systems, such as Sage, QuickBooks, and ideally CCH;

Experienced in working with clients in a busy accounting practise
