High Wycombe-based leading firm of chartered accountants and business consultants is our client. Accountancy, audit and assurance, tax, and corporate finance are among the many of the professional services they offer.

Their High Wycombe staff collaborates with local and international organisations to support their business goals.

Salary/benefits

  • A flexible 35-hour workweek that includes the primary hours of 10 am to 4 pm
  • You have the opportunity to work from home up to three days per week under the agile working policy.
  • Paid overtime or substituted time off.
  • 25 days off every year. The entitlement will be enhanced by 1 day after five years of service.

The Role:

The aim is to deliver the essential service in a skilled and effective way that is geared towards giving the client the benefit of sound guidance and the greatest amount of added value. The chosen candidate will offer the management team for the audit department and the High Wycombe office partners full and effective support. In this mixed-level position, you'll conduct audits and account work both in the office and at client locations. The position will require managing a small group of people while working outside of the office.

Running group audits and account preparation tasks, including consolidations and cash flow statements, will be expected of the chosen candidate. It will also occasionally be necessary to prepare company plans, financial prediction models, reports on internal controls, financial due diligence, and other ad hoc initiatives. It will be part of the job description to oversee the work of less experienced employees and, as needed, to communicate with tax staff, the Partner, and our clients.

The position offers a fair variety of work for someone with strong technical abilities and a background in both audit and accounts work who wants to expand on their expertise in a rapidly expanding office with prospects for advancement.
