Seniors in Audit in the Newbury region are encouraged to contact us for a role with our client. The audit senior will carry out statutory audit work for a variety of limited corporations and charities.

A senior auditor with experience searching for a new challenge would be a good fit for this position.

This position will involve:

• Statutory account preparation for partnerships, limited companies, and sole proprietors
• Accounts audited in compliance with ISAs, with attendance at client locations
• Ensure accounts are compliant with accounting rules by communicating with clients.
• Draught calculations for company taxes, including an examination of taxable items
• Define and address knowledge gaps while providing clear and unambiguous support for trainee progress.
• Directly facilitate the transmission of technical knowledge for Client Managers and Directors
• Keep abreast of judicial developments.

 Applicants will have:

• Qualified Accountant with audit and accounts experience
• Previous experience working in a practice environment
• Background working in a corporate environment
• UK company audit experience.
• Accounting software and Microsoft Office
• SAGE, Xero, Quickbooks, Kashflow
• CCH audit automation software or an equivalent package
