An exciting opportunity for an Audit/Accounts Manager has arisen within a 5-partner firm of chartered accountants based in North London. This role offers a fast track route to partnership within 18 months.

Role Overview:

This "General Practice" role will be 60% audit and 40% accounts based, with a focus on general compliance work, including financial statements, trial balance extraction, draft accounts preparation, corporation tax computations, FRS 102/105 statutory accounts, and consolidation workings where appropriate. The auditing responsibilities will cover groups with a turnover range of £7m to £20m.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a portfolio of clients, focusing on audit and accounts.

• Lead on audit engagements with at least 40% audit exposure.

• Handle general compliance work, including financial statements, draft accounts, and corporation tax computations.

• Work with a range of accountancy practice software.

Qualifications and Experience:

• ACA/ACCA qualified with at least 6 years of practice background.

• Strong experience in statutory accounts preparation and at least 40% audit exposure, currently leading on audit engagements.
