Are you looking to work locally and be fast-tracked to salaried partner level within 12 months? An established Epsom firm of chartered accountants is seeking a strong Audit Senior Manager or Audit Director to join as a salaried partner designate. This role offers the opportunity to join their leadership development program, ensuring progression towards a partner role.

Role Overview:

The role will be 60% audit and 40% accounts based with an SME client portfolio of approximately £350k. The firm is a leading advisor to owner-managed businesses and is eager to recruit an entrepreneurial professional with a commercial mindset to contribute to developing their client portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the delivery of audit/accounts assignments across a portfolio of owner-managed businesses and SMEs.

• Lead larger and more complex assignments.

• Build new revenue streams by introducing new clients and developing further streams with current clients.

• Monitor profitability across the portfolio, forecasting effectively.

• Coach and develop staff members, encouraging progression within the firm.

Requirements:

• Mid-tier or general practice background with at least 40% current audit exposure, currently leading on audits.

• ACA, ACCA qualified with at least 6 years post-qualified UK practice experience to Audit/Accounts Manager level.

• Experience in managing a portfolio of OMB/SME private company audits.

• Proven experience in new business development and client relationship management.

• Experience in dealing with complex client issues.

• Leadership experience at a management grade.

• Experience in preparing budgets and monitoring actual time against budget.
