Job Description

Our client, a well-established 3-office accountancy practice based in Croydon, is experiencing consistent growth over the last 3 years and is now seeking a knowledgeable and quick-learning Cloud Accountant to join their team. The firm serves a diverse clientele, including SMEs such as professional service firms, IT developers, property investors and developers, and not-for-profit entities.

Responsibilities:

• Accounts to trial balance and general bookkeeping.
• Preparing VAT returns.
• Performing bank reconciliations and analysis.
• Client bookkeeping on Xero.
• Assisting with financial reporting requirements.
• Drafting management accounts.
• Performing basic accounting data entry and maintenance for a portfolio of sole traders and partnerships.
• Reporting to the Portfolio Accounts Manager.

Skills and Experience:

• AAT/QBE or ACCA part qualified with a strong Cloud bookkeeping background, including Xero exposure within a practice environment.
