Our client, a leading firm of Chartered Accountants in North London, is expanding its tax team due to promotion, increased client size, and client demand. We are currently recruiting a Mixed Tax Partner Designate for their North London office, reporting to the newly promoted Head of Tax.

Role Overview:

As a Mixed Tax Partner Designate, your main purpose will be to lead and develop the tax offering while maintaining a significant existing client portfolio. The team undertakes complex private client and business tax work for a diverse client base, including tax enquiry work, providing tax advisory support to HNWIs, trusts, family wealth, and handling corporate and property transactions. The role will have an 80% advisory and 20% compliance focus.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop the tax offering within the firm.
  • Manage a significant existing client portfolio.
  • Provide high-level advisory and planning services to corporate and personal tax clients, focusing on SMEs, OMBs, groups, partnerships, and HNWIs.
  • Drive business development and networking activities to grow the tax portfolio.
  • Increase awareness and exposure of the firm's tax services.
  • Contribute to strategic planning, offer transactional advice, and manage project work.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • ATT/CTA and/or ACCA/ACA Qualified.
  • In-depth Personal and Corporate Tax knowledge, including experience in IHT and CGT planning, and advising on residence and domicile.
  • Commutable distances from North London, Hertfordshire, East London, and Essex.

Benefits:

Competitive salary range of £85,000-120,000, reflecting your experience and background.
