Perrott Partners Recruitment Ltd is excited to announce a new opportunity for a Client Portfolio Supervisor within a progressive 6-partner firm of chartered accountants, based conveniently opposite Waterloo Train Station. This role is ideal for an ACCA or ACA Qualified individual or QBE Finalist with strong management accounts and month-end management reporting experience, particularly in VAT multi-scheme exposure gained in a practice setting. Responsibilities:

• Managing a Varied Portfolio:

  • Oversee and manage a diverse portfolio of clients, with a focus on the media/IT industry.

• Management Accounts:

  • Preparation and review of monthly/quarterly management accounts with detailed commentary.

• Financial Reporting:

  • Preparation of monthly management reporting packs, including budgeting and forecasting.

• Process Improvement:

  • Identify areas to improve existing systems and processes to enhance efficiency.

• Supervision and Review:

  • Directly supervise a team, ensuring deadlines are met and reviewing their work.

• Client Interaction:

  • Engage in client meetings and streamline clients' business processes.

• VAT Expertise:

  • Strong multi-scheme VAT exposure, including the review of VAT returns.

• Training and Development:

  • Train junior staff and review their work, contributing to their professional growth.

Requirements:

• ACCA or ACA Qualified (or QBE/late part-qualified with supervisory exposure).
• Minimum of 4 years of practice background to a supervisory level.
• Strong background in management accounts and multi-scheme VAT exposure.
• Good working knowledge of accountancy software such as Sage, Xero, CCH Central, Payroll Professional, etc.
• Excellent communication skills.
