Location: Cork / Limerick / Clare / Kerry
Salary: €38,000 - €45,000 DOE

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Graduate HSEQ Officer to join a leading civil engineering and infrastructure contractor delivering major projects across the water, utilities, energy and transportation sectors.

This position is ideal for a recent graduate or early-career professional looking to build a successful career within Health, Safety, Environmental & Quality. The successful candidate will receive structured training, mentoring and support while working alongside experienced project teams.

Responsibilities

• Assist with site inspections and safety audits.
• Support the delivery of site inductions and toolbox talks.
• Help review Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS).
• Assist with maintaining Health & Safety documentation and records.
• Monitor compliance with company procedures and legislative requirements.
• Support accident and incident reporting processes.
• Attend project and safety meetings.
• Promote a positive safety culture across multiple projects.

Requirements

• Level 7 or higher qualification in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Environmental Health & Safety, Construction Management or a related discipline.
• Strong communication and Organisational skills.
• Full clean driving Licence.
• Ability to work proactively both independently and within a team environment.
• Willingness to travel across project locations.

Desirable

• Placement, internship or graduate experience in construction, engineering, manufacturing or utilities.
• Safe Pass certification.
• Understanding of Irish Health & Safety legislation.
• Site exposure through work placement, summer employment or projects.
