Supervisor Electrician
Location: New Ross, Wexford
Salary: €65-€70k DOE + Company Vehicle

Our client is looking to appoint an experienced Supervisor Electrician to oversee and coordinate three electrical installation teams working across a range of renewable-energy projects.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that the electrical teams are properly organised, productive and delivering installations to the required standards, while providing support and direction to the electricians on the ground.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced electrician who has reached the point in their career where they want to step away from the tools and move into a predominantly supervisory role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate three electrical installation teams.
• Act as the main point of contact for the electrical teams on a day-to-day basis.
• Plan and coordinate workloads, manpower and site requirements.
• Ensure teams are working efficiently and projects are progressing to programme.
• Monitor quality of electrical installations and ensure work is completed to a high standard.
• Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with relevant electrical regulations, health & safety requirements and company procedures.
• Provide technical guidance and support to electricians when required.
• Identify and resolve issues before they impact project delivery.
• Liaise with management, project teams, customers and other trades where required.
• Monitor team performance, attendance, productivity and standards.
• Ensure materials, equipment and resources are available to allow teams to work efficiently.
• Carry out regular site visits and inspections.
• Help maintain a strong culture of quality, professionalism and safety across the electrical teams.
• Support the continued development of the electrical workforce.

Renewable-energy experience would be advantageous, particularly experience with solar PV, battery storage, EV charging or similar electrical installation environments, but it is not essential for the right candidate.
