Senior Quantity Surveyor (Chartered SCSI / RICS)

Location: Dublin North / Hybrid

Our client, a leading construction and infrastructure consultancy, is seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor (MRICS/MSCSI) to deliver cost and commercial management services across a portfolio of major projects.

Key responsibilities will include:

Pre-Contract

• Lead cost planning, budgeting and benchmarking activities.
• Prepare cost plans, estimates and Bills of Quantities.
• Advise on procurement strategies, contract selection and reporting .

Post-Contract

• Oversee commercial management through project delivery.
• Manage risks, valuations, variations, final accounts and contract administration.
• Deliver cost reporting, forecasting and cashflow monitoring.

Client & Leadership

• Act as a key commercial advisor to clients and project teams.
• Provide strategic cost advice and value engineering solutions.
• Support business development, bids and best practice initiatives.

Requirements

• Chartered Quantity Surveyor (MRICS and/or MSCSI).
• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics or similar.
• Strong experience across pre- and post-contract services.
• Proven delivery of complex construction or infrastructure projects.
• Knowledge of NEC, GCCC/PW-CF, RIAI and FIDIC contracts.
• Excellent commercial, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
• Public sector framework experience desirable.
