Optimize Recruitment is seeking an experienced Finishing Foreman to join a leading main contractor on a high-profile school construction project in Clontarf, Dublin.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated construction professional to take ownership of the finishing phase of a significant project, ensuring a high-quality finish while maintaining programme deadlines and safety standards.

Reporting to the Site manager, responsibilities will include: 

• Manage and coordinate all finishing trades on site.
• Supervise and monitor subcontractors to ensure quality workmanship.
• Ensure all finishing works are completed in line with project specifications and programme requirements.
• Conduct quality inspections and address any defects or snags.
• Liaise with the Site Manager, subcontractors, design team, and other stakeholders.
• Ensure health and safety standards are maintained at all times.
• Assist with project handover and completion activities.
• Maintain accurate site records and progress updates.

The successful individual will have the following:

• Trade background preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience working as a Finishing Foreman on commercial, residential, educational, or similar construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of finishing trades, quality control, and snag management.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to coordinate multiple trades and meet project deadlines.
• Strong focus on quality, safety, and attention to detail.
• Valid Safe Pass and relevant site certifications preferred.
