Our client is a globally respected engineering, design, and project delivery consultancy with a strong footprint across Ireland and internationally. With expertise spanning infrastructure, transportation, buildings, utilities, and environmental projects, they are renowned for delivering complex, high-impact projects that shape communities and support sustainable development.

Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager with a Civil or Structural Engineering background to join their Galway team.

This position offers the opportunity to lead diverse projects across both public and private sectors, working closely with clients, multidisciplinary teams, and key stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery from concept through to completion.

Key responsibilities include:

• Lead and manage engineering projects through all project stages
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders
• Manage project budgets, schedules, and commercial performance
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects safely, on time, and within budget
• Mentor and support junior engineers and project staff
• Review technical reports, drawings, and project documentation
• Assist with tender submissions, proposals, and business development activities
• Identify new opportunities and support strategic growth initiatives

Requirements: 

• Chartered Engineer status ort working towards same
• Civil or Structural Engineering background
• Proven experience delivering projects from inception to handover
• Strong client-facing and stakeholder management skills
• Excellent communication and organisational abilities
• Commercial awareness and project delivery expertise
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
