Optimize Recruitment is currently partnering with an established residential developer to recruit a Setting Out Engineer for a major new project in County Wexford. 350+ units = 8 year duration.

Requirements include:

• Degree or qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 1 year's experience in a Setting Out Engineer or Site Engineer role.
• Candidates with 3-5 years' experience are particularly welcome, though all levels of experience will be considered.
• Experience on residential, infrastructure, or civil engineering projects would be advantageous.
• Proficiency with modern surveying and setting out equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Full driving licence.

Reporting to the Site Management Team, you will be responsible for the accurate setting out and coordination of works across the development, responsibilities will include: 

• Setting out and surveying across residential and civil engineering elements of the project.
• Ensuring all works are completed in accordance with drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Supporting site management with technical and engineering requirements.
• Monitoring site progress and maintaining accurate records.
• Coordinating with subcontractors, design teams, and other project stakeholders.
• Assisting with quality control and site documentation.
• Promoting and maintaining high health and safety standards
