Optimize Recruitment is working with a well-established building contractor to appoint an experienced Site Manager for a large-scale residential development in the Meath area.

This role will involve overseeing day-to-day site operations on a multi-unit housing project. The successful candidate will take full responsibility for delivery on site, ensuring works are completed safely, on programme, and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate all on-site activities, including direct labour and subcontractors
• Drive programme delivery and ensure key milestones are achieved
• Oversee quality control and manage snagging to a high standard
• Plan and manage materials, deliveries, and site logistics
• Monitor subcontractor performance, progress, and productivity
• Maintain accurate site records, reports, and documentation
• Ensure full compliance with health & safety regulations and company procedures
• Liaise with the client, design team, and stakeholders in a professional manner
• Coordinate utilities, services, and external stakeholders as required

Requirements

• 10+ years proven experience as a Site Manager on residential construction projects
• Experience of residential / apartment buildings
• Strong understanding of construction processes and sequencing
• Excellent organisational, communication, and leadership skills
• Ability to manage programme, quality, and safety simultaneously
• Good IT and reporting capability
• Relevant construction qualification preferred
