Procurement Manager – Rail / Infrastructure

Salary : €70,000 – €90,000 (+ excellent benefits)
Minimum : 5+ Years Experience
Location: Dublin North 

Optimize are working with a leading engineering consultancy to hire a driven Procurement Specialist to take ownership of complex tenders across major rail and infrastructure programmes.

The role in brief: 

• Drive end-to-end procurement strategy and delivery
• Lead ITN/ITT development, PQQs, tendering & evaluations
• Stay sharp on EU & Irish procurement regs and governance
• Run market engagement, supplier consultations & sourcing strategy
• Manage audits, compliance, and full tender lifecycle
• Partner with engineering, commercial & legal teams
• Build strong relationships across clients, suppliers & stakeholders

Requirements include: 

• 5+ years’ experience in procurement (infrastructure / rail ideal)
• Hands-on with ITN/ITT, NEC contracts & public procurement
• Strong grasp of EU / Irish regulations & tender governance
• Proven ability to manage high-value, complex tenders
• Excellent communicator, negotiator & problem-solver
• Degree qualified (Procurement, QS, Engineering, Law or similar)
• CIPS / RICS (or working towards) a plus
