Finishing Site Manager – Educational Project

Location: Clontarf, Dublin
Salary: €65,000 – €80,000 DOE

Optimize Recruitment, working closely with our client, are seeking an experienced Finishing Site Manager for a large educational project based in Clontarf, Dublin.

This role will focus heavily on the delivery of the building envelope, internal finishes, and final project coordination on a busy live construction site. The successful candidate will work closely with the Project Manager and subcontractors to ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

This is a strong opportunity to join a well-established contractor with an active pipeline of work across Dublin and the wider Leinster region.

Responsibilities

• Oversee finishing works across envelope and internal packages
• Coordinate subcontractors to maintain programme and quality standards
• Ensure high-quality finishes throughout all project stages
• Work closely with the Project Manager on daily site operations
• Monitor health and safety compliance across finishing activities
• Manage snagging, inspections, and handover preparation processes
• Liaise with design teams and suppliers regarding finishing details
• Maintain strong communication with site teams and subcontractors

Requirements

• Trades background highly desirable for this position
• 4+ years’ experience as a Site Manager required
• Strong finishing experience on commercial or educational projects
• Irish or UK construction experience highly advantageous
• Excellent coordination and subcontractor management abilities
• Good understanding of quality control and handover processes
• Strong communication and organisational skills required
• Relevant construction or site management qualifications advantageous
