Professional Quantity Surveyor (PQS) x3 – Intermediate & Senior Level

Location: Westmeath
Work Model: Hybrid or fully remote (depending on experience)

A respected and long‑established Chartered Quantity Surveying and Construction Cost Consultancy—renowned for its innovation, technical excellence, and industry leadership—is expanding its team and seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor. This is an excellent opportunity to join a consultancy with a strong reputation and contribute to a diverse portfolio of high‑profile projects, particularly within the Retail & Leisure (Public) sector.

We welcome applications from both Intermediate and Senior Quantity Surveyors who bring strong technical capability, commercial awareness, and a commitment to delivering high‑quality work.

Key Requirements

• Degree in Quantity Surveying (BSc Hons) or equivalent

• 5–15+ years of PQS experience at intermediate or senior level

• Experience in the Irish or UK construction industry is highly advantageous

• Proficiency in Buildsoft Cubit and/or CostX is desirable

• Strong knowledge of current building contract forms

• Ability to manage projects from inception to completion, including multiple projects depending on scale

• Skilled in preparing initial budgets and cost plans

• Experience in commercial management of fast‑track projects

• Ability to work effectively in a busy consultancy environment and lead multidisciplinary teams

• Familiarity with RIAI and/or Public Works Contracts is an advantage

• Previous client‑facing and direct reporting experience
