BIM Technician
Location: Johnstown, Co. Kilkenny
Salary: €36k-€44k DOE
Permanent, Full-Time, Mon-Fri. 

Our client an established and growing construction and manufacturing business is seeking a Junior CAD/BIM Technician to support its Projects team. This role offers excellent exposure to live projects and close collaboration with project managers, architects, and consultants.

Requirements

• Third-level qualification in architecture, engineering, or a related discipline

• Experience with AutoCAD and/or BIM software

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work to deadlines

• Good communication skills and a collaborative approach

Key Responsibilities

• Produce and adapt 2D and 3D CAD/BIM drawings from design team information

• Coordinate drawings with internal teams, consultants, and contractors

• Manage drawing revisions, issue updates, and maintain technical folders

• Prepare construction details and as-built drawings

• Support production and project delivery with clear, accurate information

• Assist with preliminary layouts and visuals to support the sales process

• Attend site visits and surveys when required

You will assist in producing accurate 2D and 3D drawings and BIM models, supporting projects from design development through to construction and close-out. The role suits a detail-focused technician looking to develop their technical and coordination skills within a collaborative team environment.
