Estimating & Contracts Coordinator
Location: Kilkenny

A leading retail manufacturer operating across the UK and Ireland is seeking an Estimating and Contracts Coordinator to join their Estimating Department on a permanent basis. Reporting to the Estimating Manager and based at the company’s European Head Office in Kilkenny, this role is ideal for someone who is first and foremost a people person—warm, approachable, and team-oriented.

Your Day-to-Day Impact

  • Prepare accurate costings and build effective pricing structures

  • Analyse and refine pricing to optimise margins and reduce risk

  • Create professional tender documentation

  • Produce and interpret KPI reports

  • Monitor planning applications (Barbour ABI leads) to identify new opportunities

  • Research competitor proposals to strengthen commercial positioning

  • Maintain and update the ERP system

  • Provide administrative support to the Estimating and Sales teams

  • Keep pricing and cost files up to date and assist with annual budget preparation

  • Support sales and margin forecasting for the Specification Channel

Tendering Phase Responsibilities

  • Assist in tender preparation and respond to related queries

  • Evaluate the commercial elements of all submissions

  • Collaborate closely with project management and commercial teams

  • Maintain detailed contract records and correspondence

  • Ensure timely contract renewals and renegotiations

  • Support lead generation through CRM tools

What You’ll Need to Succeed

  • 3–5 years of experience in contracts administration

  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines

  • Excellent analytical, reporting, and negotiation skills

  • Proficiency with contract management software and Microsoft Office

  • Ability to perform well under pressure with a proactive mindset

  • A positive, adaptable attitude and a collaborative approach
