Health and Safety Junior

Our client is a well-established organisation specialising in delivering high-quality construction and infrastructure solutions across a range of commercial and residential projects. With a strong focus on safety, compliance, and operational excellence, they are seeking a motivated individual to join their growing Health & Safety team.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Relevant Health & Safety qualification Minimum level 5 / IOSH, NEBOSH or equivalent)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach
• Willingness to travel to multi-site locations as required
• Full, clean driving licence
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Competent IT skills (Microsoft Office Suite)

Duties & Responsibilities

• Assist in the implementation and monitoring of site Health & Safety policies and procedures
• Conduct regular site inspections and audits, reporting findings to the senior H&S team
• Support in accident/incident reporting and investigations
• Ensure compliance with current legislation, regulations, and best practice guidelines
• Assist in preparing risk assessments, method statements, and safety documentation
• Deliver toolbox talks and basic safety training where required
• Liaise with site management and subcontractors to promote a strong safety culture
• Maintain accurate H&S records and documentation
• Support the continuous improvement of safety systems across all sites
