With a strong reputation for technical expertise and consistent product excellence, they continue to invest in their Irish operations and are now seeking a skilled QC Technician to join their expanding quality team.

Qualifications & Experience Required 

• A relevant third-level qualification in food science / related qualification
• Minimum 1+ years’ experience in a QC or laboratory-based role within FMCG, food, or related industries
• Proficiency in core computer applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to make informed decisions
• Confident communicator with solid verbal and written skills
• Ability to manage workloads effectively and maintain high accuracy

Duties & Responsibilities

• Carry out routine quality checks on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished goods
• Assist in preparing reference standards and control samples for testing
• Monitor and record compliance against internal specifications
• Maintain accurate documentation, including quality records and required certification
• Support the organisation and upkeep of retained samples, reagents, and lab materials
• Prepare items for external laboratory analysis when necessary
• Ensure instrumentation is regularly cleaned, calibrated, and maintained
• Highlight quality deviations and contribute to developing practical solutions
• Keep the laboratory clean, organised, and well-stocked, including washing glassware
• Follow established quality systems, safety practices, and regulatory guidelines
• Contribute to ongoing improvements in QC processes and methodologies
