Project Manager – Residential Housing
Location: County Wexford
Start: New Year
Project: 60-unit housing scheme (with further residential/infrastructure projects in the South-East)
Work Pattern: Full-time, permanent role

About the Role – Project Manager

This opportunity sits with a well-established Tier 2 contractor recognised for delivering high-quality residential schemes across the South-East. The initial project is a 60-unit housing development commencing in the new year in Wexford, with further work already secured locally and throughout the broader region.

You will oversee the full project lifecycle, working closely with the senior team to drive programme, quality and compliance. The organisation offers genuine long-term progression, strong technical support, and a structured pathway for career development across multiple upcoming schemes. A vehicle and fuel card are provided.

Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of project delivery from mobilisation to handover
• Plan, programme and monitor key milestones and deliverables
• Manage cost, quality, health & safety and environmental requirements
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and internal teams effectively
• Liaise with client, consultants and local authorities to progress issues
• Prepare regular progress reports and lead project meetings
• Drive continuous improvements and efficiencies throughout the build
• Assist with pre-construction planning for follow-on schemes

Requirements

• Proven project management experience on residential housing projects in Ireland or UK
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, contract administration and commercial management
• Excellent communication, leadership and stakeholder-management skills
• Demonstrated ability to drive projects on time and to budget
• Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel within the South-East region
• Experience working with main-contractor environment
• Proficiency with project software and MS Office suite
