Site Manager – Residential Housing
Location: County Wexford
Start: New Year
Project: 60-unit housing scheme (with further residential/infrastructure projects in the South-East)
Work Pattern: Full-time, site based

About the Role
A strong Tier 2 contractor is seeking a Site Manager to oversee day-to-day delivery of a new 60-unit housing project due to begin in the new year in Wexford. The company has a consistent pipeline across Wexford and the wider South-East, offering excellent stability and ongoing career growth.

You will take ownership of site operations, subcontractor coordination, site safety and quality standards, supported by an experienced project team. This contractor places a strong emphasis on structured development and provides a vehicle and fuel card for the role.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily on-site operations to ensure safe and efficient construction
• Supervise subcontractors, trades and site teams to deliver quality workmanship
• Ensure compliance with health & safety, quality and environmental standards
• Monitor progress against programme and escalate delays or issues promptly
• Liaise with Project Manager, client and site team to resolve queries
• Control site logistics, materials, plant and temporary works arrangements
• Conduct site inspections and ensure accurate reporting of progress
• Assist with handover preparations and snag clearance

Requirements

• Significant site-management experience on residential housing projects in Ireland or UK
• Strong knowledge of site processes, H&S legislation and quality assurance
• Excellent organisational and team leadership capabilities
• Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel in the South-East region
• Experience working for a Tier 2 contractor or main-contractor environment
• Site-based with ability to drive site culture and productivity
