As a Senior Environmental Scientist, you will be at the forefront of delivering transformative environmental projects across Ireland. You will take ownership of complex Environmental Impact Assessment Reports (EIARs) and related studies, ensuring technical excellence and strategic insight.
This role offers the opportunity to influence large-scale developments in renewable energy, waste-to-energy, manufacturing, and infrastructure, while driving growth and mentoring the next generation of environmental professionals. Based in Dublin, you will play a pivotal role in shaping solutions to some of the most pressing environmental challenges of our time.
Lead the preparation, coordination, and delivery of complex EIARs and environmental studies for major developments.
Guide and mentor junior team members and sub-consultants, fostering technical excellence and professional growth.
Report directly to the Environmental Director on project performance, strategic planning, and resourcing.
Take full ownership of projects from inception to completion, including fee agreements, invoicing, and profitability.
Balance client expectations, staff capacity, and critical deadlines to ensure successful outcomes.
Prepare and oversee high-quality fee proposals and tenders, securing new work and maintaining a strong pipeline.
Drive business development initiatives, proactively identifying opportunities in the marketplace.
Ensure compliance with national and regional environmental legislation, setting the standard for best practice.
Degree in environmental science, ecology, or a related discipline.
Minimum of 5 years’ post-graduate experience in a similar role.
Strong knowledge of EIAR processes and environmental legislation in Ireland.
Excellent report writing and communication skills.
Proven ability to manage complex projects and lead teams effectively.
