Quality Graduate / Coordinator (FMCG / Manufacturing)
Location: Kilkenny
Employment Type: Full-time / Permanent
Salary: €35,000 - €50,000 (Dependent on Experience)
About the Role
Our client is a leading company in the fast-moving consumer goods and manufacturing sector, known for its innovation, commitment to quality, and focus on continuous improvement. Due to ongoing growth, they are seeking a motivated Quality Graduate to join their dynamic Quality Team.
This role offers an excellent opportunity for a graduate with a passion for quality systems, process improvement, and product excellence to build a long-term career within a high-performing production environment. You’ll gain hands-on experience supporting quality initiatives and ensuring compliance across production and operations.
Qualifications & Skills
- Degree (Level 7 or higher) in Quality Management, Food Science, or a related discipline from a recognised Irish institution.
- Minimum 1 years’ experience in a quality-related role within FMCG, food, beverage, or manufacturing environments.
- Strong understanding of quality systems (QMS), HACCP, GMP, ISO standards, or similar frameworks.
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical thinking skills.
- Proficient in MS Office and data recording systems.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills with the ability to engage across departments.
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the company’s Quality Management System (QMS).
- Carry out internal quality checks, audits, and process inspections in line with company and regulatory standards.
- Assist in root cause analysis, non-conformance reporting, and implementation of corrective/preventive actions.
- Collaborate with production, technical, and operations teams to maintain product quality and consistency.
- Monitor and document quality performance metrics, providing analysis and recommendations for improvement.
- Participate in new product introduction and process validation activities.
- Ensure compliance with relevant quality, food safety, and health & safety standards.
- Contribute to staff training and awareness in relation to quality and GMP practices.
