Design Project Lead – Architect / Architectural Technologist
Location: Dublin (Full-Time / Hybrid)

Salary: €75k-€85k DOE

We are partnering with a well-established multidisciplinary consultancy specialising in technical design, project management, and building remediation. They are known for their strategic, solutions-led approach and for delivering complex projects with innovation and technical excellence.

Our client is seeking a Design Project Lead – an experienced Architect or Architectural Technologist who can think beyond the typical project scope. This role requires a professional with the ability to plan strategically, lead teams effectively, and manage client relationships at a senior level.

Skills & Experience

• Architect or Architectural Technologist with a minimum of 10 years’ experience.

• Proven leadership in coordinating design and construction projects.

• Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving ability.

• Excellent communication, presentation, and report-writing skills.

• Experienced in client-facing and stakeholder management roles.

• Strong team leadership and programme management skills.

• Knowledge of Public Works and/or NEC4 Contracts essential.

• Experience with remediation or defective building projects beneficial.

• Agile, adaptable, and able to think on your feet.

• Innovative mindset – able to think outside the box and navigate complex challenges.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and technical delivery of multiple concurrent projects.

• Provide strategic input on design direction, logistics, and programme planning.

• Manage project programmes and coordinate multidisciplinary teams.

• Prepare reports, presentations, and technical documentation to a high standard.

• Serve as a key client interface, managing stakeholder relationships.

• Oversee team planning, resource allocation, and mentoring.

• Identify and address project risks, design issues, and delivery challenges.

• Ensure compliance with relevant contracts, standards, and regulations.
