Location: Bray / Naas / Newbridge / Navan (and surrounding areas)

Optimize Recruitment are delighted to be partnering with our client, a leading provider of Health & Safety consultancy services across Ireland.

Our client works with a diverse portfolio of clients across the pharmaceutical, manufacturing, and commercial sectors, providing expert guidance, auditing, and compliance support to ensure the highest standards of workplace safety.

We are currently recruiting a Health & Safety Advisor to join their expanding consultancy team. This position will involve working across multiple client sites, supporting organisations in implementing, maintaining, and improving their health and safety management systems.

The Successful Candidate Will Have:

• Minimum 2+ years’ experience in a Health & Safety role.

• Pharmaceutical and/or manufacturing industry experience (essential).

• A minimum Level 7 qualification in Health & Safety (or equivalent).

• Full, clean Irish driving licence (role involves travel to client sites).

• Strong knowledge of Irish health, safety, and environmental legislation.

• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities & Duties Include:

• Conducting site inspections, risk assessments, and audits across multiple client locations.

• Developing, reviewing, and updating site-specific safety documentation, including Safety Statements, Method Statements, and Risk Assessments.

• Providing competent health and safety advice, training, and support to client management and staff.

• Assisting clients in maintaining compliance with relevant legislation and industry best practices.

• Supporting the implementation and monitoring of safety management systems (e.g. ISO 45001).

• Investigating incidents and preparing detailed reports with recommendations for corrective actions.

• Liaising with regulatory bodies and representing clients during inspections or audits.

• Promoting a proactive safety culture and continuous improvement across client sites.

Ideal Candidate Location:

Due to the regional nature of the role, applicants based in Bray, Naas, Newbridge, or Navan (or nearby areas) will be ideally suited.
