Senior Electrical Engineer

Full Time, Permanent | €70,000 DOE

Our client, an established market leader in the water pumping and treatment systems industry, is entering an exciting phase of accelerated growth and now seeks to appoint a Senior Electrical Engineer to join their expanding team.

Key Requirements

• Degree (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline

• Full EU/Irish Driver’s Licence

• Minimum 8 years’ relevant industry experience, ideally in water, utilities, or process engineering

• Proven experience leading design teams and managing project deliverables

• Strong understanding of relevant electrical standards and regulatory frameworks

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate electrical design submissions for multiple projects

• Oversee and mentor junior engineers and technicians within the design team

• Manage and review production of electrical drawings, documentation, and design deliverables (single line diagrams, cable schedules, M&I schedules, I/O listings, P&IDs, etc.)

• Define project scopes, develop works packages, and ensure alignment with client and project requirements

• Supervise and coordinate electrical installation works, ensuring design intent and quality standards are achieved

• Perform detailed quality and compliance checks prior to commissioning

• Oversee preparation of commissioning documentation and supervise the commissioning process

• Ensure timely and professional project close-out and client handover

• Contribute to the company’s technical strategy, process improvement, and innovation initiatives
