Internal Auditor
Location: Kilkenny
Salary: Up to €35,000
Monday - Friday (Permanent Role)

We’re currently partnering with a long-established, globally recognised agri-food manufacturer known for innovation and excellence in animal nutrition. As the business continues to grow, they’re seeking an experienced Internal Auditor to join their Quality Team based in Kilkenny.

What You’ll Bring

• Proven experience conducting and reporting on internal audits.

• Solid background in Quality Management Systems (QMS), ideally with ISO 9001, UFAS, NOPS, GMP+, or related standards.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.

• A proactive, detail-oriented approach with a focus on continuous improvement.

• Excellent communication and organisational abilities.

• Good understanding of food and feed safety legislation and certification frameworks.

• Confidence using systems such as SAP (or similar) and Microsoft Excel.

• Experience delivering or supporting training on quality or compliance topics.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Plan, carry out, and report on internal audits in line with company and regulatory requirements.

• Prepare for and support external audits from certification bodies and government agencies.

• Conduct supplier and service provider audits to ensure compliance with company and legal standards.

• Review and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to reflect legislation and best practice.

• Support colleagues in identifying non-conformances and corrective actions arising from audits.

• Contribute to the development and delivery of staff training in quality and compliance.

• Stay informed on evolving legislation and standards, communicating updates to relevant teams.
