Optimize Recruitment is partnering with a leading FMCG client in the Southeast to recruit a Quality Coordinator to join their high-performing team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for professionals looking to grow their career in Quality and Food Safety, from early-career candidates with 3+ year of experience to seasoned quality management professionals.

Role Overview:

You will play a key role in supporting the Quality and Food Safety teams to ensure that all production activities meet company, customer, and regulatory standards. This position is ideal for someone motivated by maintaining high-quality standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and who enjoys working collaboratively across departments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the QA team in monitoring and maintaining food safety and quality standards across production.

• Assist in daily quality checks, internal audits, and compliance activities.

• Participate in HACCP programs and maintain food safety documentation.

• Support investigations into customer complaints, including root cause analysis and corrective actions.

• Maintain and update quality system records and documentation.

• Assist with risk assessments for raw materials, suppliers, and processes.

• Collaborate with production and NPD teams to meet customer specifications.

• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives related to quality and food safety.

• Perform other quality-related tasks as required.

Candidate Requirements:

• Degree or relevant qualification in Food Science, Microbiology, or a related discipline.

• Experience in a food manufacturing or FMCG environment (1-6 year experience; internships and placements up to Senior candidates will be considered and salary is DoE for the right candidate.

• Understanding of HACCP, BRC, and food safety management systems.

• Strong attention to detail and analytical/problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

• Enthusiastic about learning, development, and contributing to a dynamic team environment.
