Salary: €32,000 – €35,000 (DOE)
Hours: 39 hours per week (Mon–Thu 8:00–17:00, Fri 8:00–13:00)
About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Accounts Administrator to join our Finance team. This key position supports the day-to-day financial operations of the business, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in all accounting and administrative processes.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced accounts professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is looking for a stable, long-term role within a supportive and professional team.
Process accounts payable and receivable, including supplier invoices and customer payments
Reconcile bank statements, creditor, and debtor ledgers
Prepare and issue sales invoices, credit notes, and monthly statements
Assist with month-end and year-end accounts preparation
Maintain accurate and organised financial records and filing systems
Process employee expenses and support payroll administration
Liaise with suppliers, clients, and internal teams to resolve queries
Prepare and file VAT returns and assist with other Revenue obligations
Provide administrative and reporting support to the finance team as required
You’ll bring a strong understanding of accounting principles, practical experience in Irish finance operations, and a proactive, problem-solving approach.
Requirements:
Proven experience in a finance or accounts administration role in Ireland
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and Irish financial regulations
Proficiency in Sage 50 (essential)
Excellent MS Excel and general IT skills
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Strong organisational and time management skills
Good communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Qualifications:
Relevant qualification in Accounting, Finance, or Business (e.g. IATI, part-qualified ACCA/ACA)
Experience with Revenue Online Service (ROS), VAT returns, and other Irish compliance procedures
Familiarity with payroll systems (e.g. Collsoft)
Competitive salary: €32,000 – €35,000
