Site Agent – Waterford (Wastewater Project)

Build the Future with our client, a leading civil engineering company with a strong track record of delivering complex infrastructure projects, is seeking an experienced and dependable Site Agent to join their expanding team in Waterford.

This is a high-impact role on a flagship wastewater project, offering the opportunity to lead site teams, drive operational excellence, and contribute to the delivery of essential infrastructure.

Key responsibilities include: 

• Lead daily site operations, ensuring full compliance with Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality (HSEQ) standards
• Review construction work packages and oversee effective planning and execution
• Ensure alignment with approved Traffic Management and HSQE plans
• Coordinate with clients, utility providers, and third-party stakeholders for seamless delivery
• Maintain accurate site records and documentation
• Manage subcontractors to meet project timelines and specifications
• Provide regular progress updates to the Project Manager

The successful individual will have the following:

• Proven experience in a Site Agent or Site Management role, ideally within water, wastewater, or utilities
  
• Previous Trenching experience ideally
• Strong leadership and subcontractor management skills
• Excellent organisational and documentation abilities
• Effective communicator with strong problem-solving skills
• Full Irish driving licence
• Experience in heavy civils, infrastructure, or public works is a distinct advantage
