Assistant Accountant  
Location: Kilkenny City 

Our client provides fast and flexible construction solutions—both on-site and off-site—for a range of complex, large-scale projects across high-tech industries throughout Europe.

The successful candidate will provide essential support across a broad range of finance functions, contributing to the smooth operation of the companies finance department.

Requirements include:

• Minimum of 2+ years working within a finance department
• Ideally a part-qualified accountant, working toward qualified.
• Strong Excel skills are essential
• Excellent numerical skills, high level of accuracy and attention to detail

Responsibilities:

• Perform daily bank reconciliations and prepare lodgements
• Assist with monthly creditor statement reconciliations
• Post multi-currency bank transactions in the accounts system
• Maintain the debtor ledger and handle sales invoicing
• Recharge shared site utility and service costs
• Process creditor invoices and EFT payments
• Support preparation of monthly trial balance and payroll reconciliations
• Assist with VAT reporting, budgeting, and audit preparation
