Wedding & Sales Coordinator
Location: Laois

As Wedding & Sales Coordinator, you will be the primary contact for wedding couples, managing their journey from enquiry, through planning, to the seamless delivery of their celebration. You will be responsible for showcasing the venue, converting leads into confirmed bookings, and coordinating with the operations team and trusted suppliers to ensure every detail exceeds expectations.

This position combines relationship-driven sales with meticulous event planning, an ideal and exciting role for someone who thrives in a high-end hospitality environment and is passionate about creating extraordinary guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Client Relations

  • Respond promptly and professionally to wedding enquiries via email, phone, and in person.

  • Conduct engaging, personalised venue show-arounds that highlight the unique charm of the property.

  • Build strong relationships with prospective clients to understand their vision and convert leads into confirmed bookings.

  • Prepare and present tailored proposals, contracts, and pricing information.

  • Achieve and exceed targets while upholding the venue’s reputation for quality and service.

Event Coordination

  • Act as the main liaison for wedding couples from booking to event day.

  • Manage timelines, budgets, and event details in collaboration with clients.

  • Coordinate with internal departments — including catering, housekeeping, and front-of-house — to ensure flawless execution.

  • Liaise with approved external suppliers to arrange décor, entertainment, photography, and other services.

  • Oversee wedding day schedules, ensuring all elements run smoothly and according to plan.

Administration & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate records of enquiries, bookings, and client communications.

  • Utilise Microsoft Office tools to prepare reports, schedules, and presentations.

  • Monitor and update wedding sales pipelines, providing regular updates to management.

Requirements

Experience & Skills

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a sales-focused role within hospitality, events, or a comparable high-end venue.

  • Proven track record in achieving and exceeding sales targets.

  • Strong organisational skills with an ability to manage multiple events simultaneously.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a natural ability to build rapport.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint).

  • A genuine passion for weddings and creating exceptional guest experiences.

  • High attention to detail and commitment to excellence.

  • Flexible to work weekends and evenings for show-arounds and events.
