Junior Site Manager – Housing Schemes

Salary: €40,000 – €55,000

About the Role

Optimize Recruitment, working closely with our client, is recruiting a motivated Junior Site Manager for a thriving house-building business in the South-East. The company’s legacy spans decades of delivering high-quality housing estates, commercial schemes, and public-centred developments.

You will gain hands-on experience managing ambitious housing schemes, working with multi-disciplinary teams in a professional environment that values innovation, quality, and sustainability.

Salary & Benefits

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing daily on-site operations for housing developments
• Coordinate subcontractors, deliveries, and site logistics
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality standards
• Monitor site progress and assist with reporting to senior management
• Support site documentation, progress meetings, and quality inspections
• Resolve on-site issues in a timely and professional manner

Requirements

• Third-level qualification in Construction Management or related field (or trade background with relevant experience)
• 1–3 years’ site management experience on large housing schemes
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• Knowledge of health & safety and quality procedures
• Full Irish driver’s licence and local travel flexibility
• Irish/UK market experience highly advantageous
